报告题目:A Space-Time RBF-Kansa Approximate-Null-Space Tikhonov Method for a Lateral Cauchy Problem of the Vibration Thin Plate Equation

报告摘要:This talk studies a lateral Cauchy problem for the vibration thin plate equation with incomplete and noisy boundary data. We establish uniqueness in a classical solution class and show that the lateral continuation is intrinsically unstable. To address the resulting numerical instability, we develop a space—time RBF—Kansa approximate-null-space Tikhonov method. For a fixed discretization and a positive regularization parameter, we prove existence and uniqueness of the reduced solution, derive a coefficient-perturbation estimate, and control the PDE collocation residual. Numerical experiments on regular and irregular domains demonstrate the influence of observation geometry, discretization, and data noise, and show improved accuracy over a controlled full-space formulation.

窦芳芳,电子科技大学数学科学学院教授、博士生导师。主要研究偏微分方程反问题的稳定性及数值算法,主持及完成4项国家自然科学基金项目及四川省杰出青年科技人才项目,在《SIAM J Control Optim》《Inverse Problems》等SCI期刊上发表论文30余篇。
